Karen has had the unique privilege of acquiring a diverse background in the hotel industry for over 20 years working with a range of properties which included Choice, Marriott, Starwood, and an independent properties. Her experience started as a Front Office Manager in New York City; it has progressed to a General Manager of several properties from Charlottesville, Virginia to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

She is excited to bring her commitment to organizational standards and core values to the accounting team where her hands on approach to accounting principles and financial reporting will support the culture of the organization at Commonwealth Lodging.
